No evidence that this is a notable film. $2000 budget suggests otherwise.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Demons (Film), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. The-Pope (talk) 16:04, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:NFILM

[edit]

This is nothing personal, this is not a reflection of what we think of your work, you just have to understand that we require verified information, and to prevent every high school/uni/night school/backyard movie from getting a page, there is a minimum standard that is required. Read WP:NFILM closely and try to work out under which criterion the film qualifies. Then find a reliable source to back up that claim. If you can't find one, then it can't exist until there is one. Don't think that this should exist to help you with your promotion of the movie - it has to be the other way round. Cheers, The-Pope (talk) 16:27, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Demons (Film)

[edit]

I have deleted this article, because the Proposed deletion (PROD) notice (template) had remained on it for a week. You may not have noticed that the template said that you could remove it if you objected to deletion, and I should advise you that you can still have the article restored just by asking - either below here, or on my talk page. However I suggest that this would be a waste of time: the article would certainly be nominated again at Articles for deletion and in my opinion it is far short of Wikipedia's requirements explained at WP:Notability (films). It is a pity that the first deletion discussion was based on the WP:NFF guideline that a film should not have an article before shooting has started, as that may have given you the idea that to start production was all that was required; but in fact even films that are completed and released do not necessarily qualify for articles. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a noticeboard, and is selective about its subjects. Also, your use of "we" on the talk page suggests that you may have a WP:Conflict of interest.

Summary: you may have the article restored by asking, but you should read WP:Notability (films) carefully before you do that, because unless you can demonstrate notability to that standard it will just be deleted again.
